New Offices/Manufacturing Facility to Meet Growing Demands
November 18, 2015
The strong, positive international profile that Xypex has achieved can be significantly attributed to the effort, performance, and continued growth of Xypex Australia over the past 24 years. The recent opening of the new head office and manufacturing facility in Albury, New South Wales was a clear and exciting testimony to this fact. Rob Godson, Managing Director of Xypex Australia said that “the state-of-the-art facility represents yet another stage in the company’s growth and confirms our confidence in the future and our commitment to Xypex globally".
The need for greater manufacturing capacity was driven by the ever-increasing demand for Xypex Crystalline Technology in the Australian and the South East Asian construction markets where Xypex is recognized as the undisputed leader in crystalline waterproofing and protection of concrete structures for both general construction and infrastructure projects.
September 25, 2015 was grand opening day and, with the cutting of the ribbon by Honorable Sussan Ley, Minister for Health and Sport, Xypex Australia’s new facilities were formally launched. Coincident with the opening was the Asian-Wide Xypex Conference in Albury, attended by distributors and representatives from over 10 countries.
Chris Miller, International Director at Xypex Corporation congratulated Rob and the team on its professionalism, the number of high quality projects, and “the way in which Xypex Crystalline Technology is rapidly becoming a mainstream solution in Asian markets".
A get-together, with Rob at the helm, celebrated both the grand opening and a successful conference – aussie-style of course.
